Installation Guide

Setting up your first chatbot with Hachly AI is a straightforward process designed to get you up and running quickly. Follow these steps to begin enhancing your website with AI-driven interactions.

  1. Sign Up: Begin by creating an account on the Hachly AI platform. Visit our main page and enter and select a subscription plan that best fits your business needs. Our plans are designed to scale with your website traffic and interaction demands. .
  2. Access Your Dashboard: Once registered and logged in, you will be directed to your personal dashboard. This is your central hub for managing your chatbots and monitoring performance.
  3. Create Your Chatbot: Click on 'Create New Chatbot'. You`ll be guided through a setup wizard where you`ll define the chatbot`s name, configure initial settings, and customize its behavior to match your brand. Refer to the 'Chatbot Configuration' section for detailed guidance on each setting.
  4. Integration: Upon completing the setup, you will receive a unique JavaScript (JS) code snippet. This code enables the chatbot to interact with visitors on your website.

Each step is designed to be intuitive, but detailed help is available within the dashboard should you need guidance on any specific features or settings.

Chatbot Configuration

Customizing your chatbot is key to ensuring it aligns with your brand and effectively engages your visitors. Below are the details of each field you will encounter on the settings page and how to best utilize them for optimal performance.

Assistant Name:
Name your chatbot will use during interactions. For example: "Mark".
Company Name:
Your business name as you want it to appear in the chatbot interactions, e.g., "Hachly AI".
Website URL:
Your main website address where the chatbot will be active, like "https://www.hachlyai.com/".
Allow Live Calls:
Enable to allow real-time calls through the Google Meet. NOTE: Meetings might conflict with one another if you have 2 or more visitors that requested a live call during any given moment. That might happen on website with high traffic.
Allow Scheduled Calls:
Enable to allow users to schedule calls via an your calendar link (like Calendly).
Allow Lead Magnet:
Allow the chatbot to offer lead magnets to visitors, such as eBooks
Company Description:
Brief description of your company, e.g., "AI SDR for inbound sales". Not more than 150 characters.
Meeting Purpose:
Define the primary goal of meetings scheduled through the chatbot, such as "Introduction Meeting". A few words are sufficient.
Lead Magnet:
Details about lead magnets offered, for example, a "list of eBooks". A few words are sufficient.
Ideal Customer Profile:
Describe your target demographic, such as "Companies". A few words are sufficient. Do not go into details.
Visitor Ignore Profile:
Define which visitor types to exclude, like "Job seekers, students, advertisers, and recruiters". A few words are sufficient.
Chatbot Settings:
Customize chat behavior with options like "Tab Notification for New Messages" which specified if the tab name is going to change to "New Message" everytime a new message is received and "Dynamic Messages" which specified the amount of context-aware messages that will be sent to user. The number must be 1 or 2..
Set the primary color of the chatbot interface, such as "#2563eb".
Schedule Link:
Link to your scheduling tool (e.g., Calendly) where visitors can book appointments. This makes interactions more actionable and can drive conversion.
Google Meet Link:
Direct link to a Google Meet room for immediate video calls.
Allow URL (Regex):
Regex pattern to restrict URLs where the chatbot can be activated.
Exclude Countries:
Option to block chatbot access from specific countries.
Include Countries:
Option to allow chatbot access exclusively to specified countries.
Change the buttons that are shown in the chatbot interface. You can include up to 3 buttons.
Update Chatbot Knowledge:
Refresh the chatbot’s data from the website.
Zapier API Key:
Use this key to integrate your chatbot with Zapier for enhanced automation capabilities. See the 'Integration' section for more info.
Installation Code:
JavaScript snippet to embed the chatbot on your website. Simply copy and paste it into your site’s HTML.

Zapier Integration

  2. Create a Zap: Click on the 'Create Zap' button in your dashboard. A 'Zap' is an automated workflow between your chatbot and the apps you choose.
  3. Choose a Trigger App: Search for 'Hachly AI' in the app directory and select it as the trigger. This step will dictate what action in Hachly AI starts the automation.
  4. Configure the Trigger: Set up the specific event in Hachly AI that will initiate the Zap. For example, choose 'New Lead' or 'New Meeting Scheduled' as triggers.
  5. Choose an Action App: After setting the trigger, select the app where you want the data to be sent or the action to occur. For example, choose a CRM like Salesforce to receive new lead details.
  6. Configure the Action: Customize what happens in the action app when the trigger occurs. This might involve mapping fields from Hachly AI, such as lead contact details, to corresponding fields in your CRM.

Available Triggers

New Meeting:
Triggered when a new meeting is scheduled via the chatbot. Data includes participant name, email, Google Meet link, and the visitor’s URL.
New Lead:
Activated when a visitor turns into a lead. Information captured includes name, email, visitor's URL, along with geographic data and referral source.
Scheduled Meeting:
Occurs when a meeting is confirmed and scheduled. This trigger sends detailed information such as name, email, schedule time, and the Google Meet link.
