Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Hachly Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15234648) with its registered office at 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom ("Hachly", "we", "us").
They apply to every app, website, software tool and online service that Hachly Limited provides (our "products"), including products we launch or acquire after the date above and products that aren't named here. A product is ours if Hachly Limited publishes, sells or operates it, for example if it is listed under Hachly Limited in an app store, names Hachly Limited as its developer, seller or operator, or links to these terms. Our products include, for example:
- healmeal, the AI calorie tracker and coach, and healmeal.app
- other apps such as Space AI, Recaplio, yPDF, Wrapr, Quote Buddy, True Stoic, F Metrics and KEEP THE PHONE
- madOS, the App Store intelligence platform for app developers and their AI agents
- Hachly AI, the AI sales agent and chatbot platform at hachlyai.com
- our websites, such as hachly.com, getspaceai.app and last20.ai
If a product comes with its own terms, those apply to it, and these terms cover anything they don't. Any extra rules shown in a product (for example on its pricing or billing pages) also form part of these terms for that product.
By creating an account, buying something or using any of our products, you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use our products. Sections 1 to 14 apply to every product; sections 15 to 17 add rules for particular products. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
1. Who can use our products
- healmeal is for people aged 16 or over.
- Our other products are for people aged 13 or over, unless the product, its app store listing or these terms set a higher age.
- madOS and Hachly AI are business tools. You must be 18 or over, and by using them you confirm you are acting for your trade, business or profession and not as a consumer. If you use them for an organisation, you confirm you can bind it to these terms, and "you" includes that organisation.
2. Your account
Give us accurate details, keep your login secure, and tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Some products let you use them without a full account (for example, healmeal creates an anonymous account on your device); you are responsible for that account in the same way.
3. Paying for our products
Through Apple or Google. Subscriptions and purchases made in our apps are sold and billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you turn off auto-renew in your App Store or Google Play account settings in time under the store's rules (usually at least 24 hours before the period ends). A free trial turns into a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel before then. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds for these purchases are decided by Apple or Google under their refund policies; we can't issue them ourselves.
Through Stripe. Purchases on our websites (Hachly AI plans and madOS plans and credits) are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown on the product's pricing page at the time you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from your account or billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. If a payment fails, we may pause or downgrade your access until it is paid.
Price changes. We may change prices. For an existing subscription, a new price applies from a renewal after we have given you reasonable notice, and you can cancel before it applies.
Refunds. Except where these terms or the law say otherwise, payments are non-refundable and we don't give refunds or credits for partly used periods, unused credits or unused features.
4. AI output is guidance only
Our products use artificial intelligence. AI output can be incomplete, out of date or simply wrong, and it can sound confident when it is wrong. In particular:
- healmeal calorie, macro and nutrition figures are estimates, often made from a photo, a voice note or a short description. The AI coach is not a doctor, dietitian or personal trainer, and nothing in healmeal is medical, nutritional or fitness advice. healmeal is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Talk to a qualified professional before changing your diet, weight or exercise, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, take medication, or have or have had an eating disorder. If you feel unwell, stop and get medical help.
- madOS data, rankings, download and revenue estimates, keyword scores and agent recommendations are estimates based on public and third-party data. They are not financial, investment or legal advice.
- Hachly AI chatbots generate replies automatically from the instructions and material you give them. They can make mistakes when talking to your visitors and customers.
- In our other apps, AI-generated designs, images, transcripts, summaries, translations, invoices and mentor conversations are for inspiration and convenience. For example, a room design is not a building plan, a car modification may not be legal on the road, and a transcript may mishear words.
You are responsible for how you use AI output and for checking anything important before you rely on it.
5. Your content
"Your content" means anything you put into our products: photos, meal logs, voice notes, messages, prompts, files, website content, credentials you connect and so on. You keep ownership of it. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, transmit, adapt and display your content to operate, provide, secure, support and improve our products, as described in our Privacy Policy, including sending it to our service providers. This licence ends when your content is deleted from our systems, except for copies we keep as our Privacy Policy describes.
You promise that you have the rights to your content and that our use of it as described here won't break the law or anyone's rights. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely without paying you.
6. Acceptable use
You must not, and must not help anyone else to:
- break any law or regulation, or infringe anyone's rights, including privacy, data protection and intellectual property rights;
- use our products to create, send or publish content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, defamatory, or deceptive;
- send spam or unsolicited messages, or message people through WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, email, SMS or any other channel without the consent the law and the channel's rules require;
- pretend to be someone else, or use a chatbot to deceive people about who they are talking to or that it is automated, where the law or a platform requires you to say so;
- collect or process anyone's personal data, especially health, financial or children's data, without a lawful basis and a proper privacy notice;
- upload malware, or try to probe, scan, overload or break into our systems or anyone else's;
- reverse engineer, decompile or copy our software, except where the law allows it;
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download our products, or use them to build a competing product or dataset, except through features and APIs we provide for that;
- get around usage limits, credits, paywalls, rate limits or security measures, or share accounts or API keys to do so;
- resell, sublicense or rent access to our products without our written permission;
- connect accounts, apps, stores or social profiles you are not authorised to use;
- use our products for anything where a mistake could cause death, injury or serious harm, such as emergency services, medical diagnosis or controlling vehicles or machinery.
If you break these rules we may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close your account (see section 8).
7. Our products and intellectual property
We own our products, software, designs, brands and content, and these terms don't transfer any of it to you. As long as you follow these terms, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the products for their intended purpose. Open-source parts are licensed under their own licences.
8. Suspension and termination
You can stop using our products at any time, and you can delete your account as described in our Privacy Policy. Remember to cancel any subscription with Apple, Google or us as well.
We may suspend or close your account, or stop providing a product to you, if:
- you break these terms or we reasonably suspect misuse;
- you don't pay what you owe;
- we need to for legal, regulatory or security reasons, or to protect other users or us; or
- your account has been inactive for a long time.
Where reasonable, we'll tell you before we act and give you a chance to fix the problem. If we close your account because you broke these terms, we won't refund anything you've paid. If we close it for any other reason, we'll refund the unused part of anything you prepaid directly to us.
When your account is closed, your right to use the product ends and we delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections 4, 5 (feedback), 7, 9, 10, 11, 13 and 14 continue to apply.
9. Changes
To our products. We are always changing our products. We may add, change or remove features, change usage limits, or stop offering a product. If we stop a paid product altogether, we'll give you reasonable notice and refund the unused part of anything you prepaid directly to us.
To these terms. We may update these terms. We'll change the "last updated" date, and if a change materially affects you we'll tell you in the product or by email before it applies. If you keep using our products after a change applies, the new terms apply to you. If you don't agree, stop using the product and cancel your subscription before the change applies.
10. Other companies' services
Our products rely on and connect to services run by others, such as Apple, Google, Stripe, Meta, OpenAI, Apple Health and Health Connect, and app stores and social networks you connect. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We aren't responsible for them, for their availability, or for changes they make that affect our products.
11. Our responsibility to you
What we don't limit. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Products are provided "as is". We work hard to keep our products running well, but we don't promise they will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for your particular purpose, or that AI output will be accurate. If you are a consumer, this doesn't affect your legal rights, including that digital content must be of satisfactory quality and that services must be provided with reasonable care and skill.
Business users. If you use madOS or Hachly AI, or otherwise act for a business, we are not liable to you for any loss of profit, revenue, sales, business, contracts, goodwill or anticipated savings, for loss or corruption of data, or for any indirect or consequential loss, however it arises.
Consumers. If you use healmeal as a consumer, we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable, or for any business losses, because healmeal is for personal use only.
Our total liability. Our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with our products or these terms, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is limited to the total amount you paid us (or paid Apple or Google for our product) in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. If you are a consumer, this limit applies only as far as the law allows.
12. Your responsibility to us
If you use madOS or Hachly AI or act for a business, you will compensate us for any losses, damages, fines, costs and reasonable legal fees we incur because of a claim by someone else arising from your content, your chatbot's conversations, your posts, your breach of these terms, or your breach of law (including data protection and marketing law).
13. General
- Transfer. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation, for example if we sell a product or the business. We'll make sure the transfer doesn't reduce your rights. You may not transfer your rights without our written consent.
- Events outside our control. We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as outages at our providers, internet failures, strikes, or acts of government.
- Entire agreement. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any order or plan details you accept, are the whole agreement between you and us about our products.
- Severability. If a court decides part of these terms is invalid, the rest still applies.
- No waiver. If we don't enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- Third parties. Nobody else has rights under these terms, except Apple as described in section 15.
- Notices. We contact you through the product or the email on your account. You can contact us at [email protected].
14. Law and disputes
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of them (including non-contractual disputes), are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts, and if you are a consumer living elsewhere you keep any protection given to you by the mandatory laws of your country. Please contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to fix the problem.
15. Our apps
These rules apply to all our mobile apps, including healmeal, Space AI, Recaplio, yPDF, Wrapr, Quote Buddy, True Stoic, F Metrics and KEEP THE PHONE, and any apps we release in the future.
Personal use. Our apps are for your personal, non-commercial use, unless an app is designed for business use (such as Quote Buddy and F Metrics).
Free and paid features. Apps may offer a free version with limits (for example, a number of AI chats, scans or designs a day) and paid subscriptions or purchases that unlock more. We may change what is free, what is paid and the limits, as section 9 explains. Paid subscriptions start with a free trial only when the offer in the app says so.
healmeal. healmeal is for people aged 16 or over. Connecting Apple Health or Health Connect is optional; if you do, healmeal reads and writes the data described in our Privacy Policy, and the figures it shows are only as accurate as the data your devices record. Foods you add to the food database may be shared with other users as our Privacy Policy explains. Section 4 applies in full: healmeal is a tracking and coaching tool, not a medical service.
Photos, recordings and other content. Only upload photos you have the right to use, and only record other people where the law allows it and you have their permission where it is needed. AI-generated images and text are yours to use for any lawful purpose, but other people may get similar results, and we don't promise that results are unique or free of third-party rights.
Invoices and records. Quote Buddy and F Metrics help you produce invoices and track numbers. You are responsible for checking them and for your own tax and accounting.
In-game items. In KEEP THE PHONE, in-game currency ("Quid"), hearts and upgrades have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money or transferred, and may be lost if you delete the app. Purchases of in-game items are final once delivered, except where the law gives you a right to a refund.
Apps from the App Store. If you got one of our apps from Apple's App Store:
- these terms are between you and Hachly, not Apple, and Hachly, not Apple, is responsible for the app and its content;
- your licence to use the app is limited to Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store's Usage Rules;
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app;
- if the app fails to meet any warranty that applies, you can tell Apple and Apple will refund the price you paid for the app (if any); to the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app;
- Apple is not responsible for dealing with any claim by you or anyone else about the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection or privacy claims, or claims that the app infringes someone's intellectual property;
- you confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and you are not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties;
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Apps from Google Play. If you got one of our apps from Google Play, Google Play's terms of service also apply to your purchase and download.
16. madOS
Accounts. We may review new sign-ups and may decline or limit any account. You are responsible for every action taken with your account, your API keys and the AI agents you connect to madOS, including the credits they spend. Keep your keys secret and revoke any you no longer need.
Credits. Some madOS features, including actions taken by AI agents, may cost credits. Prices, the credits included in plans, top-ups, balance limits, what happens to unused credits (including when you cancel) and other credit rules are shown in madOS and may change.
- Credits have no cash value, can only be used in madOS, and can't be transferred or exchanged for money. They are not refundable, except where madOS says otherwise or the law requires.
- Credits may be limited, may not be added above a balance limit, and may expire, as shown in madOS.
- Promotional credits are subject to the conditions shown with them, and we may withdraw them if we believe they were obtained unfairly.
Automatic charges. madOS may offer automatic recharges or top-ups, which may be switched on by default. When they are on, we charge your saved payment method when your balance runs low, within the limits shown in your billing settings. By saving a payment method and leaving automatic recharges on, you authorise these charges without you being present. You can change the limits or switch them off at any time in your billing settings.
Chargebacks. If you dispute a payment with your bank, we may freeze your account, pause your subscription and remove the related credits while the dispute is open.
Fair use. Free use of madOS is subject to reasonable daily limits that we may set and change, so that the service stays fast for everyone.
Connected accounts and publishing. When you connect App Store Connect, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or another service, you authorise us to access it on your behalf to provide the features you use, including creating report requests in App Store Connect and publishing posts. Posts that you or your agent schedule are published at the scheduled time without asking you again. You are responsible for what is published and for following each platform's rules, including the YouTube Terms of Service and TikTok's and Meta's terms.
Data. madOS shows data from Apple, other platforms and third-party estimates. It may be incomplete, delayed or wrong, and sources may change or stop being available.
17. Hachly AI
Plans and credits. Hachly AI is sold as subscriptions described on our pricing page or in your dashboard, and may start with a free trial or a free plan with limits. Plans may include credits or usage limits, which are used as described on our pricing page or in your dashboard (for example, when visitor conversations start or messages arrive through connected channels). Unused credits have no cash value and are lost when your subscription ends. When you run out of credits or reach a limit, your assistant may stop working until you buy more or your plan renews.
Your assistant and your visitors. You decide how your assistant is set up, what it says, what it collects and where it appears, so you are responsible for it. In particular you must:
- have a privacy notice on your website and channels that tells visitors about the assistant and the data it collects, and get any consent the law requires, including for the browser storage the assistant uses;
- make it clear to people that they are talking to an automated assistant where the law or a platform requires it;
- only collect the data you need, and not use the assistant to collect special category data (such as health data), payment card details or passwords;
- follow the rules of each channel you connect, including the WhatsApp Business and Meta platform policies, and only message people who have agreed to hear from you;
- check the assistant's answers and correct its instructions and knowledge when needed.
Your website content. You confirm you have the right to let us crawl and use the website pages, files and other material you give us to train your assistant.
Data processing. For the personal data of your visitors and contacts that we process for you, you are the controller and Hachly Limited is your processor, and the following terms apply in addition to UK and EU data protection law. We will:
- process that data only on your documented instructions, which are these terms and how you configure the service, unless the law requires otherwise (in which case we'll tell you first, where allowed);
- make sure people who access it are bound by confidentiality;
- keep it secure with appropriate technical and organisational measures;
- use sub-processors (our main service providers are described in our Privacy Policy, and we'll give you a current list on request), which you authorise. We'll inform you of intended changes to them, and you may object on reasonable data protection grounds by contacting us; if we can't address the objection, you may end your subscription. We impose data protection terms on sub-processors that are as protective as these;
- transfer data outside the UK or EEA only with appropriate safeguards;
- help you respond to requests from individuals and meet your security, breach notification and impact assessment obligations, taking into account the information available to us;
- tell you without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting that data;
- delete or return that data when you stop using the service, unless the law requires us to keep it;
- give you the information you reasonably need to show compliance with these obligations and allow reasonable audits, at your cost and with reasonable notice.
The data involved is described in our Privacy Policy and depends on how you set up your assistant. It is processed for as long as you use the service, to run your assistant. We also process some of it as a controller for our own purposes, as the Privacy Policy explains, such as preventing abuse.
Results. Hachly AI can help you engage visitors, but we don't promise any particular number of leads, sales or conversions.
